Any donation will help Acclaim undertake its work. The Acclaim Awards program is unique – helping Australia’s best young opera singers achieve an opera career.

All donations of $2 or more are fully tax deductible. There are several ways that you can make a donation: One-off payment via credit card online now; EFT to Acclaim’s Bank account or set up a regular monthly deduction from your credit card.

Volunteer

Acclaim needs many volunteers to help us undertake our work; we currently do not have enough volunteers to enable us to do our work.

Whether it is just an hour a week or more that you could offer to help, everything will assist.  Some of the type of assistance we need, covers:

  • Administration

  • Database management/ data entry

  • Event organisation

  • Fundraising

  • Alumni Liaison

  • Grant Applications

Sponsor an Artist

All of Acclaims work goes directly to support individual young singers.  There are many ways that you can help us support artists and this can include:

  • Buy singing lessons; single lessons or a week’s lessons, from $150 each lesson

  • Buy Italian language lessons; a week’s lessons, from $300

  • Buy a “per diem” for living expenses in Italy, from $350 per week

  • Buy a week’s accommodation in Italy; from $500

  • Fund a flight for a singer to Italy, about $1,800

  • Donate airline points/buy a ticket for a singer to Italy

Of course, the ultimate gift can be to join with Acclaim to be a Patron of a selected artist.  Acclaim will work with you to develop a Patron’s Program that works for you and ensures a maximum, tax benefit.

Host an Event

Help spread the work of Acclaim by growing our network of friends and supporters by hosting a Soirée at your home or holiday home.  Invite some of your friends and Acclaim will provide some wonderfully talented singers to perform and it can be a terrific friend raiser and fundraiser.  Acclaim will help with the organising, food and drinks to help create a wonderful event in your own home.
